Aromatherapy oil- The "essential oil" for health! |

I discovered the wonderfully fragrant healing properties of aromatherapy and essential oils during my first pregnancy. I was so careful with every single thing I put in my body because I didn't want anything impure or synthetic entering my system. When nausea struck, which it so often did those first few months, I learned to sprinkle a few drops of peppermint essential oil on a handkerchief and wave it in front of my nose. It kept my nausea at bay and made my whole house smell just lovely! When I found myself suffering from insomnia, I would sprinkle a few drops of lavender essential oil and vanilla aromatherapy oil on my pillow and sheets and soon found myself sleeping soundly.
I was also leery of cosmetics and makeup, but needed some type of coverage while my face broke out and began to show signs of pregnancy mask. I researched the new world of permanent makeup with its wonderful advantages and practical applications. I wouldn't have to apply harsh chemicals and starches to my brows, lips, and eyes every morning before leaving the house. Coupled with all the money I would save on pricey cosmetics makeup, it sounded like a very sound investment. Life, however, managed to get in the way of my plans of permanent makeup. However, I still entertain the thought and have allotted an account just for the day when I take the plunge!
Finally, I was not one of those lucky women who experienced full, lush hair during their pregnancies. So, I found some wonderful hair styles that gave the illusion of volume and body, as well as health and shine. I found a silky smooth pomade solution that tamed my frizz, as well as some fun hair pieces and natural hair ponytails that clipped right into my own hair, cleverly appearing as my own supermodel hair. Pregnancy was indeed uncomfortable, but I looked lovely while enduring it!
